About Meridian
Positive international relations, and a united future for our species
Meridian is dedicated to positive international relations and the united future of our species on Earth and beyond. In a time of escalating geopolitical noise, the most important stories are often the ones that do not fit a conflict frame: people still building together.
We exist to make that cooperation visible, first through public indexes of US–China economic and scientific work, and later through whatever instruments the mission requires.
Our principles
Positive relations
We treat cooperation as the durable default of a lasting civilization, not a footnote to conflict. Visibility of mutual benefit raises the cost of rupture.
A united species
Flags are real. Climate, health, knowledge, and industry do not respect them. Meridian maps the work that already crosses borders so that work can continue.
Earth and beyond
The century's work is not only to keep the peace on Earth, but to remain one species capable of carrying itself further. Continuity is the point.
Evidence over narrative
We prefer public records to slogans. Meridian Database is a best-effort index of cooperation, built so the reality of collaboration is harder to ignore.

The Database is a standalone public index of verified US–China partnerships and research. Records are assembled with public filings, direct research, and an internal AI system using experimental fine-tuned models alongside proprietary LLMs, a method chosen so the index can stay accurate without becoming a newsroom.

Read our writingA meridian belongs to no one. It is a shared reference: a line both sides can measure from. That is the posture of the organization: not to erase distance between nations, but to keep a common coordinate so the distance can be crossed.
We believe transparency fosters stability. When the scale of mutual benefit is visible, the cost of disruption becomes harder to ignore, on Earth and in whatever future we build next.
